I read your article on using Fruit Smoothies with Chia Seeds as a weight loss support, but it missed a VERY important factor: Green Leafy Veggies!
When you 40% mild flavored greens to this recipe the result is a Green Smoothie, which is just as delicious as the plain fruit smoothie, but packs a WHOLLOP of nutrition!
The "secret ingredient" is CHIA SPROUTS. I add them whole too, but I sprout them in terra cotta plates. They sprout in just 2 days and are ready to consume in 3-4 days. They're vibrantly green, loaded with nutrients, and add living energy to your smoothie.
I'm losing at a steady rate of 5 lbs per week.
I exercise 3 days/wk doing water aerobics/workout classes and lots of stretching.
I can't recommend the CHIA seeds highly enough. I was delighted to discover Hidalgo Foods as the best web resource for them.
